Scholarship Amount

• $500 - $1,000 to be given upon enrollment in a post-high school education program

• Multiple scholarships may be awarded, depending on candidate pool

 

Eligibility Requirements

• Being a graduating senior or recent graduate of an Iosco County high school

• Maintaining a cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or above

• Needing financial assistance to achieve post-high school education goals

 

Decision Criteria

• Meeting eligibility requirements above

• Being involved in high school and/or community activities

• Working full or part-time during school or summer breaks

  • (preference may be given to candidates who have worked at Red Hawk Golf Club)

 

Application Instructions (must be received by April 15, 2025)

• Complete the information at the bottom the sheet below and provide the following:

  • Most recent copy of cumulative high school transcript

  • Letter of recommendation from a teacher/coach/employer

  • One-page typed sheet, listing and/or describing:

    • High school and/or community activities

    • Work experience

    • Brief paragraphs about yourself and your post-high school goals/plans
